第3週 

好きな食べ物と嫌いな食べ物を三つずつ書いてみよう。

いろいろな料理をたべることが好きな人は多いですが、私はそうではありません。
私の味覚はまるで１０歳児のようです。

私の好きな食べ物：
１）玉葱が入っていないピザ

ピザが大好きです。人気がないパイナップルピザも好きです。もしピザに玉葱が入っていたら、食べる前に根気強く一つ一つ玉葱を取り除きます。

２）白米
昔はご飯があまり好きじゃなかったけど、日本に来て、もちもちしたご飯を食べてからどんどん好きになりました。

３）牛肉
ステーキと焼肉がうまい。


私の嫌いな食べ物：
１）玉葱が入っている料理

でも、オニオンリングは大好物です。
　
２）納豆やオクラのようなネバネバした食感なもの

鼻水みたいだからです。

３）見た目が悪い食べ物

料理は見た目も大切です。

10歳の頃の自分は、今よりもずっと好き嫌いが多かったです。例えば、子供に人気なスパゲッティやカレーライスは高校生になるまで食べられませんでした。
大学に入った頃から友人のすすめでいろいろな食べ物に挑戦するにつれて、苦手な食べ物が減ってきました。友人達には感謝しています。

食事をすることは、コミュニケーションにも大事です。

💭 What I think I said

There are many people who like to try different dishes, but I'm not one of them. In fact, my palate is similar to a 10-year-old.

My favorite foods:

1. Pizza without onions 

• I love pizza. I even like pineapple pizza. However, if my pizza has onions in it, I will painstakingly remove each piece before eating.

2. White rice 

• I didn't like rice very much, but after coming to Japan and eating their variety of rice, I grew to love it.

3. Beef 

• Steak and other barbecue food are heavenly.

My disliked foods:

1. Any dish with onions 

• I love eating onion rings, though.

2. Slimy foods like natto or okra 

• They have a mucus-like consistency. 🤢

3. Foods that look unappetizing 

• Presentation is just as important as taste.

When I was 10 years old, I was a lot pickier than I am now. For instance, I didn’t eat popular children’s dishes like spaghetti or curry and rice until I was in high school. Then, when I entered university, I began to try different foods because of my friends. Gradually, the number of dishes I disliked decreased. I am grateful to them for this. I learned that sharing meals is also vital for communication.

第2週 (早期提出)

週末は何をしていますか？

土曜日は普段朝4時に起きてジョギングに行きます。6時に日本語の勉強を始めて、3時間ぐらい勉強します。その後、ブランチに行く途中でポッドキャストを聞きます。いつものカフェに行くと、ガーリックシュリンプの濃厚ビスクシチューがついたブリオーシュフレンチトーストのブランチコースを注文します。食事の後には美術館に行くことがあります。

日曜日はドライブに出かけて日本庭園に行くのが好きです。私は抹茶を飲みながら本を読みます。庭園の雰囲気がとても落ち着きます。

でも実は・・・ここまでの話は、全部嘘です。

私の週末は充電のためにあります。

私がすることは、たくさん寝て、リラックスすることです。時々、天気がいいと出かけます。でも、見ているドラマかアニメを一気に見れるなら、巻き寿司のように毛布にくるまって画面の前にいます。

私の週末の過ごし方はお洒落ではないけれど大切な時間です。

💭 What I think I said

I usually wake up at 4 a.m. on Saturdays to go jogging. At 6 a.m., I start studying Japanese for about three hours. Then, on my way to brunch, I listen to podcasts. When I go to my usual café, I order the brioche french toast brunch course with the garlic shrimp bisque. After eating, I sometimes visit an art museum.

On Sundays, I like to go for a drive and visit a Japanese garden. There, I read a book while enjoying some matcha. The garden’s atmosphere is very calming.

However... everything I've told you so far is a lie.

My weekends are for recharging.

What I actually do is sleep a lot and relax. Sometimes, if the weather is nice, I'll go out. However, if there is a show or anime that I can binge-watch, I'll be wrapped up in a blanket like a sushi roll in front of the screen.

My way of spending the weekends may not be sophisticated, but it's integral to me.

自己紹介。自分のことを書いてみよう。

こんにちは。シェイです。

私の名前は、母がニューヨークにあるシェイスタジアムにちなんでつけてくれました。残念なことに、そのスタジアムは2008年に取り壊されてしまいました。それ以来、私の名前を他人に説明するのが少し難しくなりました。

子供の頃、私は本を読むのが好きでした。時々、授業中も図書室に隠れて本を読んでいました。あの頃は、1日1冊ずつぐらい読んでいました。

日本語の本も、英語で読むのと同じくらい簡単に理解できるようになりたいです。😅

💭 What I Think I Said

Hello, I’m Shea. My mother named me after the Shea Stadium in New York. However, they demolished it in 2008, and I have had a hard time explaining where I got my name from since.

When I was a child, I really liked reading books. I used to hide in the library during school hours just to read. Back then, I used to read a book a day.

I want to be able to understand Japanese books as easily as I can read in English. 😅
